I love t-shirts!

Bit of a sweeping statement sure, but it’s so true. I love plain ones, printed ones, cropped ones and faded band ones.

In summer I like them baggy with leggings or tucked into skirts but since my atumn/winter “boyfriend shirt” obsession I seem to have a distinct lack of t-shirt prettiness to choose from.

Internet to the rescue then? Of course.

This Xray print oversize tee is by Alexander Mcqueen and available for the pricely sum of £125 at asos.com. It’s probably a bit more than I would normally choose to spend on a t-shirt but I do think it’s kinda special. I love the military look and can so see this teamed with funky red braces and my skinny jeans. Rock n Roll!!

Cute with a capital C is the only way to describe this vest from forever21.com. The twist racer back is divine and the play on the french flag colours (red, white and blue) ties in with the slogan brillianty. It’s safe to say I love this, problem is I’m not sure if I can even order from the website as I am in the UK. Hmmmm, I should check that out.

I love the delicate feel of this red number from topshop.com and at a measley £16 I think it’s an absolute bargain. Being a crop and having that gorgeous cut out detail I can see this layered so many different ways. I actually think it would look great with thick black and white striped underneath it!

This could possibly complete me

Today I am sick so haven’t had chance to play around with the layout as yet and as I said yesterday, I am completely new to the blogging world so there is lots of stuff to learn.

What I have had time to do though is flick through the Miss Selfridge website in anticipation of a new extra large store opening in my town.

Usually a bit hit and miss for me I find the clothes available in Miss Selfridge are either absolutely perfect or a little but shapeless but this is, I feel entirely down to my very petite size and not the quality of the garments.

However, today i struck gold as I came across this little beauty…

For only £45 this beautiful jacket encaptures 80′s power dressing with punk street style perfectly. The faded black denimesque fabric looks chic while still being cardigan comfy and the exposed zips on the pockets and structured shoulders are amazing.

This will definately be mine on payday.

Well hello there…

After reading many a blog on the wonderful world of web and being extremely inspired by all the lovely things people have to show and say, I have decided to start my very own.

This is completely new to me and therfore I will need to tweak things over the coming weeks but I hope I will get there and be as proud of my own little space here as I am of the other things in my life.

I aim to use this blog as a jotter if you like, a place to put my thoughts, inspirations and collections of things that make me smile.

Obviously I hope to entice some lovelies to read along with me so if you do happen to come across this pleae comment, follow and email me to trade links etc.

Enough for now though as it is very late.

Tomorrow I will figure out the layout etc and work on some content.
